Here’s a great story…
We’ve returned over $950,000 to our community
Speak & Share is a local not-for-profit mental health charity that encourages the tough personal conversations and challenges the stigma associated with mental health. They facilitate school, corporate and sporting club programs, as well as an annual fun run (which we sponsor).
In 2024 we engaged Speak & Share to provide their school program to all year 9 students at Mt Eliza Secondary College, Mornington Secondary College and Frankston High School.
We support a number of local cricket clubs, including Mt Eliza Cricket Club who are based at Emil Madsen Reserve. In 2023 they launched their pioneering women’s team. We're proud to support the club and the great job they are doing to get women and kids involved in local cricket.
We’re a long-term partner of Mornington Life Saving Club which offers a range of Nippers programs, competitions and events at Mills Beach in Mornington every summer. Their volunteer surf lifesavers help to keep us all safe on the beach and we’re proud to support them.
We help the Mt Eliza Neighbourhood House and their volunteers to serve their popular community lunches, bringing elderly and isolated locals together for a nutritious meal and companionship.
The Neighbourhood House is the community heart of Mt Eliza. It offers adult education classes, community lunches, a community garden and pantry, and coordinates a number of other social and community initiatives.
We are proud to support of Frankston Dolphins Football Netball Club. The club aims to support their players with a strong focus on personal development in a positive and inclusive environment. In 2024 their great club culture delivered them the Southern Football League Premiership.
We’ve been a long-term supporter of Peninsula Transport Assist. They provide community transport options for people who need help to get around. That may include a volunteer driver in their own vehicle, or a minibus for hire. In 2022 our support helped PTA to advertise on social media across the region to expand their services and attract volunteers.
We’re proud to announce our sponsorship of Frankston Football Club for the 2025 season. Since being established in 1887, the Frankston Football Club has been the home of Australian Rules Football on the Mornington Peninsula.
Our funding enables the Mt Eliza Fire Brigade and CFA subscribe to specialised emergency services software so they can communicate with and mobilise their local volunteers quickly in the event of an emergency.
Our local responders now work to an incredible three minute local response time when there’s a fire in Mt Eliza. This helps them save property and lives. We’re really proud to help build the resilience of our community through initiatives like this.
We’re delighted to be partners of the Mt Eliza Bowling Club, sponsoring them to run local bowling events and the annual Community Bowls Challenge. Back in 2019 we provided the club with a defibrillator, which was put to use the day after delivery. Our funding in 2021 helped the club deal with some damage and associated costs caused by an earthquake.
Baden Powell Cricket Club based at Overport Park celebrated their 60th anniversary in late 2023. We’re proud to be long-term supporter of the club, keeping their senior and junior members fit, healthy and connected through summer.
The Old Peninsula Football Club is making waves in the VAFA competition. The club was established in 1979 and provides competitive football teams for senior players. They’re expecting to expand to offer junior and women’s football in 2025. We’ll be there to help them do it.
The Mt Eliza Farmers Market is one of the village's most popular monthly events. Popping up on the village green on the fourth Sunday each month, the market brings Victorian farmers and food producers to town to sell their produce direct to the public. That helps all of us to support them and their regional communities.
On average, about 1000 people come through the gates of the market each month. Market managers Leigh and Hannah (pictured) do a great job organising the market and liaising with the stallholders.
We work with Mt Eliza Secondary College on a number of projects. In the past we’ve supported the development of their bush tucker and student wellbeing garden and each year we provide opportunities for students to attend leadership development camps.
We supported Kunyung Pre School, helping children from around 50 local families to play, learn and grow. The staff help local kids develop a love of learning, extend their boundaries and build resilience for life.
Our sponsorship helped Mt Eliza Netball Club support their 22 teams and 210 players with recognition activities. This club encourages their players to progress into coaching and umpiring, giving them leadership experience and confidence.
Supporting around 500+ junior members, Frankston Dolphins Junior Football Club is doing a great job of keeping local kids fit, healthy and active. We’re proud to support them.
The Mt Eliza Football Netball Club fields three senior football teams and five adult netball teams in the Mornington Peninsula Nepean Football League. Founded in 1968 the club is proud of its history and acknowledges the many generations of past players, volunteers and supporters that have made our club what it is today. Their vision is to provide an environment where the young people of Mt Eliza and surrounds can develop life and sporting skills, supporters and families can visit and feel at home.
Legacy is there for the partners and the children of those who gave their lives or their health for our country. Mornington Peninsula Legacy covers one of the largest Legacy footprint areas in the country.
They support around 700 widows of Australian Defence Force Veterans who live in our region (average age is 85-100 years). The local Legacy team regularly bring these ladies together for social events like luncheons and morning teas. These events help to keep these elderly people connected, engaged and supported. We’re proud to help them with funding for this widows’ social program.
Walker’s Road Pre-School has been helping our littlest locals learn and develop for the past 43 years. Our funding will help them tackle some much-needed maintenance of their outdoor areas, supporting the staff, families and children.
The Mornington Obedience Dog Club helps people and their dogs learn new skills and stay healthy, active and engaged. They bring their members together for events and competitions, and provide advice and guidance to local dog owners.
Hosted by Frankston Athletic Club, the Frankston Gift is an opportunity to see great athletes in action. This annual professional running event originated in the 1800s and attracts competitors from around Victoria and beyond.
We’re proud to support the people and families who make up the Delacombe Park Cricket Club based in Frankston South. The club has a fantastic family atmosphere and they offer kids, women’s and senior cricket opportunities for beginners and passionate players.
We support the beautiful game with sponsorship of Baxter Soccer Club. The club is proud of its status as a Mental Health First Aid Skilled Workplace and Good Sports Club. This means it is recognised as being an inclusive, supportive and mentally healthy organisation that works hard to support its members and community. We’re proud to help the club grow and develop its junior programs and support their Senior Reserves team.
Defibs save lives and keep everyone in our community safe. We were happy to help the Ranelagh Club install a new unit at their busy club tennis courts. We hope they never have to use it, but it's on-hand in case of an emergency.
We’ve had a long relationship with our community radio station RPP FM. Along with our regional branch colleagues, we help RPP to tell local stories and news, cover local sport, and highlight local talent. Tune in on 98.7 FM.
Our region’s Community Banks support the Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Youth Services team to run an annual youth leadership camp. The camp experience helps participants develop confidence, leadership skills and connections with community.
Many of the participants go on to join Mornington Peninsula Shire’s Youth Advisory Committee. That committee advises council and hosts the annual youth awards – which recognise local young people for their contributions.
The Last Litter Program run by the volunteers at Peninsula Cat Rescue Inc. makes sure that every cat has the opportunity for a loving home. We're really proud to support it. The program desexes, microchips and vaccinates cats who have recently given birth. The kittens are then fostered, desexed, microchipped and vaccinated ready for local adoption. This also helps manage overpopulation and environmental effects.
The Tyabb Airshow is a high profile local event hosted by the Peninsula Aero Club. It showcases historic aircraft, modern jets and world class pilots in action. The airshow attracts a big crowd of visitors to the region. There’s also food, entertainment and a carnival atmosphere. It’s a great day out for aviation enthusiasts and the whole family. The 2024 Air Show is on 10 March.
For 40 years Peninsula Home Hospice have been providing palliative care in the home that optimises quality of life and honours the hope for comfort, choice, dignity and peace.
None of us like to contemplate or talk about death. But as a community we need to work together so everyone lives and dies well. Peninsula Home Hospice is helping us have these sensitive conversations. We're so proud to support them.
Every year we help the Rotary club bring free community events like the Australia Day BBQ to the village. Our team volunteer to help on the day.
